Non-invasive type device for temporary use. Ultrasound is constructed to use, for therapeutic purposes, the biological effects induced to the human body by mechanical vibrations produced by ultrasonic waves with a frequency of 1,000,000 cycles per second (1 MHz), imperceptible both acoustically and tactilely, to be applied to the human body noninvasively through a treatment head.

Such physical energy is called ultrasound, and the therapeutic practice, which is known and appreciated for the good results it allows in the physiotherapeutic field, is called ultrasound therapy.

The principle of using ultrasound in the physiotherapeutic field is based on the interaction that is produced between the ultrasound and the different tissues that it passes through, generating different types of effects: thermal, mechanical, cavitation, biological and phonophoresis.
